Gone are the days of company loyalty, and it seems to be every man for himself. I remember a time when you started working for an employer, there was an exchange of respect, civility, and a work ethic.

Did all of this change with overemployment? Lack of loyalty and respect?

A coworker asked me to do something, I should have questioned it but did it because I trusted their seniority. I got called out for it by our boss on an email. Should I say something? I'm lateraling to another firm because frankly I think the management of this one is terrible, but the people (and individual partners) I actually work with are awesome. I've only been here for about 18 months, so I imagine that short time frame will make it extra awkward 😬

So embarrassed. I literally had one job to do today which was to schedule a client and give and take her paperwork when she came in. Totally called her by the wrong name today AND gave her the wrong paperwork. She was really nice about it but I feel like my boss was disappointed and I'm disappointed in myself. I don't want her to think I won't be able to keep clients straight when I start doing supervised sessions.

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. So my team currently uses onenote to house all of our SOPs and reference guides, but it’s becoming a monstrosity and it’s really hard to search and navigate. What programs do you use to provide your team with resources? Or is there some trick to onenote organization that we are missing maybe?

I was just offered a sales consultant role at a spirit’s distributor 65K with potential to make 75K if I meet goals etc. My dream job @ Red Bull, Similar role but way more fun around the same range of $$ possibly slightly more ..am still waiting to hear if I made it to the final round. I have until Friday to respond and Red Bull said they would let me know IF I made it to the final round by Friday.. should I reach out to Red Bull if I have not heard by Wednesday that I need to make a decision?

We got a faint positive today but have had so many chemical pregnancies over the past year that I am not confident it will stick this time BUT I am on aspirin and progesterone for this try … so it could..
