Roo to my bruhs. Happy founders day

Hi I run a podcast called The Lawtrepreneur Briefing that explores what's makes a modern lawyer modern. We do this by having conversations with people driving the transformation of the legal profession.
Excerpt of the most recent conversation can be found here: https://twitter.com/lawtrepreneurco/status/1282688181419347968?s=19
If any of you have thoughts about the subject, I'd love to have you on. You can apply to speak here: https://www.lawtrepreneur.co/podcastguest/

I remain calm and call them out on what they said.
Example: "Excuse me, I don't appreciate your foul language. Please be professional. Now, as I was saying earlier . . . ."
Or
"This isn't how you talk to someone. Are you okay?"
I’m so sorry. What happened?
I do not tolerate being disrespected. I would try to politely redirect the conversation. If that does not work, I would politlely, but professionally end the conversation.
Thank you! I need to remind myself of this.
Consider ending the client relationship, or at minimum getting yourself off this client’s projects.
I would not be too quick to get off that client's project. That is giving that client power. It may be that the client is not aware of how s/he is coming across. Whatever the case, you should never be afraid to speak up when/if you are being treated with anything less than respect. Running away from the situation should not be the solution. What will you do when dropping the client is not an option. The lack of respect needs to be addressed. This client needs a friendly reminder that you are BOTH professionals, and as such, you expect to be shown the same level of professionalism you are showing the client, which means being treated with respect. There are ways in which to have these types of conversations and maintain professionalism. Do not let this client bully you!
How could they humiliate you?
