I believe improving one’s sales conversion rate is something everyone want to improve but no one wants to admit they would like to work it. Funny how lawyers will spend thousands on seminars to improve trial skills. But this topic is not discussed in our profession. I have read books in sales. But am unable to find any for lawyers. I want convert every lead I can. Does anyone have tips, books, cle’s or studied this topic?

I’m responsible for strategy, comms and key partnerships for a bank product. It reports through Customer Experience but touches product, Ops. marketing. It’s basically a Project Manager role but more nuanced.

Just curious how many interviews did you go on before landing a job? Iv already had 5 different interviews where I make it to the final rounds and they just say they are going a different direction with someone with more experience. I have one that I’m waiting back to hear from and have a second round with Amazon. If I don’t get these I’m debating on if I should read/study leadership books to try and change my approach when answering these questions.

Would love to see a story on how much Activision CEO Bobby Kotick, 59,has made since he and partners bought Activision out of bankruptcy in 1991 for $400k. He now owns 0.53% so at $95 a share that Microsoft is paying, that alone is $400 mil. But in 2020 alone his pay package was valued at 154 million (some of this is overlapping in his stake)!!
