What age do you plan to retire? I'm hoping to retire by 55, but I think it's more realistically going to be 60 or 65. I love my job, but I won't be upset when I can spend more time with family and live off my pension.

Ideally 50, realistically 65. Part of it will depend on when my job can replace me, I wouldn't want to leave them in the lurch.

Will probably never retire but will try to move to a very low stress and low demand role around 52. Plan is to alst run a small business around then. Something low key but profitable, even if just in real estate equity.

I’m looking for assistance on building your own portfolio in my traditional 401K. I’ve been reading that it’s important to choose funds with low expense ratios. Also, that it is recommended to have at least one US stock, international stock , and bond. I am 24yo so ideally, I’d want to allocate 90%-100% to stocks and 0%-10% to the bond. Any other things I should be looking at?

I have cash to put a large down payment to avoid the high rates but am scared I have no roots and will move in another few years.

I’ve given a detailed summary of all of my expenses yet every month one family member in particular comes to me for rent money (not some, the full amount, and they refuse to get a job). It has become quite the burden.

Is it too late in our lives to jump into a mortgage?

So my fiancée and I are relatively late in terms of finally landing well paying jobs and being able to save money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. We’re both 36 and currently rent a 2 bedroom in NY and have a combined savings of $35,000 which she wants to use as a down payment on a condo. I kinda just wanna continue saving while renting. I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.

Hey everyone,
I recently started at HubSpot as an account executive covering SMB. I’m finishing up training and a Salesforce recruiter reached about a job opening doing pretty much the same thing. Salesforce was near the top of my list of prospective companies. Curious if anyone has experience working there and would recommend it over HubSpot?
