When do you think is the right time to leave consulting. After making manager? Or after a certain level of burn out? Etc.

SC is generally the sweet spot, with M being a little bit tougher. Once you start hitting the SM+ ranks, it becomes exponentially tougher to get a good exit due to pricing yourself out of the market and/or generally not having the depth of experience to justify your salary.

There are exceptions, of course, but SC is generally where you'll see the most bang for your buck when exiting.

This is industry wide and isn't particular to any given person. If you have other motivations for leaving, then by all means take the exit instead of potentially forcing yourself to stay in consulting.

May I know what would be the roles and responsibilities with this designation? Am i supposed to be managing some team/people?? or work within some team on my particulars. Checked with the recruitment team but they seems to either not interested or not sure about the same.

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?

I am an IT architect with 10 years of experience specifically in Salesforce products. I am thinking of moving from a strategy consulting role to an architecture role in Salesforce (company) itself. I have experience building tech strategies and also technical project delivery.

Wondering if it makes sense to apply for an Enterprise Architect (pre-sales) or a Senior Technical Architect role??

Also in terms of seniority and salary are these roles any different?

I’m struggling. I left an agency I liked last year due to growth limitations and since then I’ve worked at 2 different agencies and can’t seem to find my footing. The first one seemed like a good fit at first but then it turned out to not be the best place for me so I left. At my current agency I feel super undervalued.
