When does having kids get easier? Have a newborn so now have 2 under 3, and wondering if there is a light at the end of the tunnel, also how do you manage to get any work done when you’re home? Any tips or perspectives?

I have pretty strong social phobia and am worried about making friends. I'm going to be working for an engineering company so I imagine I don't have to be really up on the latest trends or anything but how can I talk to people without making it sound unnatural?

My family mistreated me when I was younger, and now that I don’t live at home, they don’t call or bother to look for me, because frankly, I think they have a hard time admitting what happened - and will never apologize to me either. If I don’t call, or occasionally go see them during the holidays, we would never talk. Some of them are growing old (health-wise), and I’m scared this entire situation is just irreparable. Has anyone ever gone through anything similar? Any advice or thoughts?

A relative is raising a teenage son with her ex-husband. They have joint physical custody. The ex-husband has re-married. When the son is in his care, he often leaves the son at home in California with his (new) wife when he travels for work (which is often). The relative wants her ex-husband to leave their son in her care when he travels out of town but the ex-husband disagrees. When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right? What are your thoughts on a fair base salary for tier 3 strategic account manager role (tech), for someone with 7years experience, but not in tech?

On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. How short do you cut your nails?

Feel like I am potentially on the verge of developing tendonitis / carpal tunnel. I try to keep my (standing) desk ergonomically aligned but the reality is that I spend 8-14 hrs a day typing (and, probably, tense) and I’m concerned about rendering myself physically unable to do this job. Anyone dealt with this?
