Guys, my friend had her last working day last week and she thinks she forgot to fill her timesheet for her last 2 days before handing over the laptop. What can be the consequences of this? She is really worried about this
P.S she belongs to a back end team serving the firm internally charging time on only one code.

It's just a fucking ad, people need to remember that.
That's kinda fucked up. I would have turned down the position. I value a boss and company that knows family is important, and a work/life balance is a real need, not just something you pay lip service to.

So I definitely feel like I've lost a huge amount of my "life" the past year because of the demands of the clients. I feel like it really depends on what account/discipline you're working on. A "work/life" integration needs to be supported by higher ups on the account. Luckily, I often don't mind staying late or not having a "life" because I have a great team, feel like I can be my authentic self at work, and we make time for some fun. But I certainly need to prioritize my own life more. There often feels like there's no end in sight from the client demands...
Appreciate the honesty. Here they constantly talk about how greatly they value work/life balance and then they expect you to do five people's jobs, not take vacation, and work holidays and weekends.
I disagree. It's better at a lot of places. You just have to do your research and meet with people that aren't the ones hiring to get a true sense of culture. Of course there will be weeks where you leave at 6,7,8 etc... but that shouldn't be the norm.
Everyone is different and the definition of work life balance varies. Having a life is extremely important to me so I would look at a statement like that as a big red flag. I work to live not the other way around.
I was interviewed by 2 people, not surprisingly the person who said this to me left shortly after I started. But before leaving this person did say at least they were being honest...
It is fucked up but at least he was upfront and honest about it. You at least had tips or warning signs, most don't know the kind of shit storm they're walking into.
I didn't get a warning, in fact they told me the opposite. If I knew work/life balance would be so bad here I wouldn't have accepted the offer. Smdh
Conill has the most forgiving hours if you are complaining about leaving at 7,8 or 9 pm ... its not any better out there.
I was not given the option of life. Just doing my job right.
Okay bud, let's start looking. You're free now? What can we do to beef up that resume?
