Everyone’s got the best plan for using other people’s money
It not selfish to complain about a billionaire’s charitable giving, but what’s 25M to Zuck (net worth $55 billion)? That’s less than 0.05%. That’s like a couple hundred bucks to you and me - is that commendable, or just the bare minimum to make headlines?
P1 🙄
Everyone feels entitled to wealthy people’s money
Zuckerberg has given billions to charity and he is only 35.
Donor advised funds
Well he used all our data to get rich, the least he can do is donate more money
Yes and that's your fault for not understanding what you're getting into, not Facebook's
..
I got a plan for taking other people's money. It starts by building a central bank.
Because we rather have him and his company pay taxes than to rely on the generosity of the top 0.01%
It’s $25M
Tax the rich.
Feed the poor, till there are rich no more...
Only things we should care about when it comes to a billionaires’ or anyone’s finances are if they are using their funds for something illegal or unethical or if they are evading taxes.
Anything else is none of our business.
Because we Americans always need something to complain about
We’ve structured our whole economy so that these billionaires are allowed to exist in the first place. In the most urgent crisis, they throw us breadcrumbs. It’s not worth the tax dollars we forgot from them they could help our medical infrastructure, research and relief efforts
What makes anyone think that getting more money from billionaires would mean that government would spend that money on the “right” things?
I’ve often thought that the assumption that the government is a better capital allocator than Bill Gates (for example) is an odd one.
All people like doing is blaming others for their problems instead of actually doing anything.
Rather than complain about someone like Zuckerberg that did give money. Where’s the outrage for Bezos that refuses to give any?
Because that’s untrue
Haters gonna hate no matter what. Good or bad people will always talk.... but won’t do a damn thing themselves.
