ALWAYS choose PPO over HMO for insurance (if you have the option). The extra cost is so worth it for the quality of your healthcare and your stress levels.

What’s the deal with these start-ups not hiring people with actual insurance experience?

I know that feedback culture is part and parcel of consulting, and I feel it is contributing to my anxiety and depression. At the same time, i enjoy the problem solving aspects and don’t want to do a career change.
Anyone having the same problem? What have you done to help yourself cope with the culture?

Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). Their default diagnosis is cancer, and she does have a past history of colon cancer. Please keep her and my family in your prayers.
