Working on how to encourage/improve video meeting engagement across our organization. Work-from-home isn't going anywhere, so we are looking to beef up recommendations to staff on optimal video presence/engagement but making sure it will be well-received and appropriate. Wondering if or what others have been exposed to as an employee from their organization (e.g.; learning modules, guides, direct conversations,etc) or maybe if others have tackled this for their own org. I work from home so it’s not too much of a nuisance but I feel distracted all day long and can hardly get anything done because I worry about my dog. What are your client follow-up/communication policies or practices? I’m hearing more and more that clients don’t like the long periods of time with little to no contact. From my perspective, since I bill for my time, unless I have an update or need something, I don’t initiate a call. Also, clients hold on to important info and don’t initiate a call cause they’re waiting for me to communicate with them.

I’m pretty passive when I’m disrespected by creative but I think it sets a bad example for my team. If any of my reports were spoken to the way I was I’d raise hell...how set example?
