Works at Air Force, I’m not sure what job you have there, but there are many jobs available in the reserves and the national guard. Many service members are not aware of. I currently work with the Oklahoma Air national guard and they have many full time technician spots open and even AGR jobs. If you cross train, this would be the best time to do, but the full time option is only open to Airmen with 18 months or more experience in that job. Hope this helps!

Aww! This would have been a great opportunity for my technician friends. Too bad I just was this now.

We recently had several open spots for FT technicians as well. Good to know that we have more opportunities for our technician friends. Thanks for this!

Thanks for the info! You can post this in the reserve bowl as well to reach more people.

I was wanting to know if it’s possible to start a career as a Project Manager in the marketing/advertisement world? I’m not looking for any kind of mid-level position. Simply trying to get my foot in the door as a PM for the marketing industry and wanting to know if that’s a realistic goal.

Based on the Gross salary offered I have calculated the in hand salary per month would be around 152000 considering 150000 in 80C, 50000 in NPS and 200000 deductions due to home loan interest. Total tax liability is around 400000. Any other options do I have to save tax further (other than HRA, LTA)? Thanks in advance.

Anyone participating in biketoberfest on Sunday?

I recently quit my job. My VP was a narcissist and never really looked out for my upward progression even though he said he was my sponsor. Whenever I would do a solid job, he would always down play it or give the mid-level mgr credit even though other people / management acknowledged it. But we still got along. When I gave my two week notice, I did not meet up or talk to him (I cancelled a good bye 1-on-1 b/c I was over it) - sent a short thank you email instead and ghosted. Was this justified?
