So, I spoke to the recruiter negotiated for $XXX base, told him about being compensated through a signing bonus for losing my current company bonus.

Got an email yesterday from recruiter saying we are working on your case, and will shortly have a word with you and then after that send you the formal offer letter..

Today, I get an email from the partner - he wants to have a quick 5-10mins to discuss about the opportunity that is in progress..
what can I expect ?

Will be up for promo in 2023, was a campus hire and have 1.5 yrs experience. Wondering if it’s worth pursuing an external business analyst role as a contractor in the healthcare industry (9 month contract, possibility for FT after). Approaching my first ever performance review. Just got hired in May and am worried that I didn’t negotiate my salary well enough, and now the % increases will be pegged to that under-market salary. How do I tactfully get out of that while keeping a good relationship w my manager?

I'm currently doing my internship at Simon-Kucher (4 months), and love the job I do. However, the long working hours (it was 14.5 hours yesterday, for example) is killing me everyday and gives me no space to relax and improve myself, or even reading a book. Now, I got another internship offer, including a full time one, from P&G's Finance department. Though I'm not a fan of finance, it offers me decent working hours, a lower salary (but not much), and a nice career path. What do you think?

I recently got very ill and had to stay in the hospital for a bunch of tests. They thought I had cauda equina but it was ruled out. My insurance said since I was stable they will not pay for the bill. The bill was $49k. I am extremely stressed as I am very overwhelmed with work, getting healthy, and now this. I am trying to file an appeal but I am worried it won’t be approved. I am on my own with no family to support me which is why I am posting here. What the hell do I do? That’s half my salary

Got the offer letter!!! I think it has everything I asked for/wanted. Anything else in particular others suggest I look out/negotiate for? No singing bonus so that’s first on my list, what else?

My contract is up for renewal soon and I have been made aware the client will be asking me to extend. I will be with the client for 6 months at time of renewal (if I accept), is that to early to ask for a salary increase?

Anyone know the salary band for a Deloitte GPS Business Tech Solutions analyst? Is it possible to gun for $90k given that I have a security clearance, 1yoe by the start date, and a masters-equivalent program?

Those that work for a company that reduces your compensation by location and the role is completely remote. How does a company verify your location? Couldn’t someone theoretically change their vpn to the area of their employer or to an HCOL area to get more favorable compensation even if they live in an LCOL area or even 100’s of miles away?

I’m at a boutique strategy consulting (a good one but few people know of) and have offers at one of the MBB (for same pay) and a PE portco (for a 35% BASE jump and target bonus of 40% vs 20%). I am early in my career (2 yoe). PE portco will be a 50% higher TC than MBB offer. What should I do? I want the MBB name but am I being stupid?
