At a small consulting firm (100-150) looking to make a jump into the big four. Any insight into what the compensation is like?
Currently a manager around $100k in advisory (4-5 yoe). I don’t see much growth in the next year.

Any insight would be super helpful.

How much total compensation (base salary, bonus, stocks) does a M&A finance manager in Google/Facebook/ Amazon make in California? Planning to switch from M&A financial diligence (Manager level) in a Big 4 to one of these tech companies. How is the work life balance? Any more helpful information to transition, thank you.

I’m in MTS and recently got an offer from PWC federal side, compensation wise it’s really close but in my group I have multiple clients under three different Senior Manager which is what kills me. I’ve always want to get federal experience and I don’t think it’ll be easy if I want to transfer to a federal group. So should I quit or use the offer to negotiate transfer group? I know I have someone if I want to negotiate to go to national MTS but federal I don’t have close connection…

What is a reasonable raise expectation when being promoted?
Internally, I’ve seen raises range from 15%-30% for base salary. *not including bonus* and these % remain around the same for jumps between Associate->Manager->Sr.Manager

Any help with making a decision here? I'm considering both as a Sr Consultant (I'm a manager but paid less than either):
- EY Parthenon 180K base + bonus (avg range 12-18% w a max of 25% so 45K). I got this salary range from the recruiter
- BCG but I don't know an actual salary offer for this. So I'm looking online seeing 165K base + some bonus "range" and a max of 40K.

BCG seems low comparatively, especially given the old "horror stories" of work/life balance. But I've heard good changes!

Have an offer for 30% raise and work that I want to do at another firm. Also have a pretty solid guarantee from leadership I can do the same work at Deloitte, but no additional comp adjustment (outside of the mid year bump). Am up for manager this year and barring any unforeseen circumstances will get it in June. What the f should I do?

Hey 🐟 - I have an offer for EYP consultant. It's a ~30% jump in comp, but right now I'm a manager at a small shop with great WLB. Is it worth it to take the brand name and likely more hours even though id be stepping back in project responsibilities? Context - 3 YOE

Currently at EY senior 3 up for promotion to manager just interviewed with Deloitte and people seem great! Salary increase is amazing… is this a good decision hmm… you guys tell me. I have no issues with EY but my salary is not what I would like it to be and when I promote I don’t think they will come close to offer from Deloitte.

Interviewing for a Deloitte Consulting organization transformation practice at Manager level. What’s the expected salary for this role?

Consulting was never my end game, always planned to exit after manager at some point for a program manager/strategy role in industry. I am currently a year 2 consultant who would be up for manager next year and could be making around 150k. I have an offer to exit to industry for 140k (10k higher than current salary), trying to decide if it’s better to leave now or hold out for the manager tittle.

Manager at Cap Invent (Consulting). Deloitte Consulting offering same grade with 13% increase in base salary with TC (bonus incl.) getting to around 95k.
