A friend just got offered a manager position at grant Thornton..with 30% bump in salary. is currently a 2nd year SC at Deloitte....thoughts on whether he should take it?

Soon-to-be SC in Sept at Deloitte but about to get an offer from McKinsey. What kind of salary can I expect at McKinsey. I see120-150k for an associate consultant online. Accurate? No MBA here.
