For MBBs and particularly BCG - SEA to be more specific, is it the case that if you're rejected from the final round you'd get an email or a call but if you got the role it will definitely be a call?

Is anyone else getting tired of boston? Don’t get me wrong I love it here and can’t think of many other places I want to live. maybe san francisco? Just feel like i’ve seen it all and done it all. Is this just what getting older feels like? is it the cold weather creeping in?

Hi All - My wife received an RFE for her I-485 form and we sent a response to USCIS San Diego field office P.O. box last week. However, the USPS tracking status says that the package is waiting for someone to pickup, which is strange because I thought P.O. Box should just be a drop-off address. If they don’t pick up today then it will be returned to us. Has someone encountered this before and what did you do?

Given that most major PA firms are fairly lax on remote work/hybrid work models, is it fair to assume one can apply to positions in any city in the country even if they don’t live in that state? Or should they stick to open positions in their localities?

I’ve been at a small law firm for a year and eight months, and have been an attorney for one year. By small I mean, it’s me and another attorney (I’m the paralegal and law clerk as well). I don’t plan on sticking around, and am actively seeking new employment. Should I ask for a raise even though a raise wouldn’t make me stay? I’m in the San Diego area, I get paid $37 an hour, no benefits, but I get to work from home two days (I commute 104 miles total when I go into the office).

Hi, I’m a nurse in San Diego area. I have about +1 year of experience in inpatient nursing, and I currently work inpatient. What do you guys think is a good pay scale for non new grad, newbie nurses?

On a project right now where I am the only senior with 3 staff under me. There is a manager and director but the manager is very uninvolved and the Director is slammed - I’ve essentially been left to run the project. My issue is the 3 staff are completely MIA (Director and Manager knows) - they don’t respond to emails, Teams messages, meeting invites, etc. What would you do in this situation? Cold call them and tell them to work? Call their direct boss?

Hypothetical - generally if you have a need for a large sum of cash in ~3-5 years, it’s best to keep it in a HYSA. If longer time horizon, put it in the market so it can grow. (Assuming regular contributions/DCA in both scenarios) If you go the market direction, at what point do you pull it out of the market and back into an HYSA ahead of the purchase? 1 year out? 2 years out? Day of the sale?
