What are some agencies that have strong of culturally relevant work/clients? Tired of working with healthcare and trying to make a move into something I’m more interested in or cooler at least

I'm new to all this. Is it best to save 10% of my salary all in my company's 401k (with 20% match, increasing by 5% every year)... or saving 5% in 401k and 5% in a Roth IRA?

hey, fishies! i got a dilemma. would you take an offer that’s $5k less than your desired salary range/expectations? (e.g. you say your range is $115k - $120k & they come back with $110k). but also this would technically be a $5k cut from your current salary, which is pretty much maxed out for its current title/salary band.

HOWEVER, i’d be moving from a midsized agency to a very prestigious agency, which also covers 100% of your healthcare premium AND deductible…

What's healthcare advertising really like?
Does the regulation leave room for true creativity?

So far I have been working in roles where I work on lots of different types of brands and I'm worried about being typecast if I work at a healthcare ad agency for a few years.
Will I have a hard time moving out of it if I wanted to?

Pros and cons of working in healthcare and pharma?

Anyone else get a “401k audit” email from Havas recently? I left the agency several months ago and just recently have gotten a few emails asking me to fill out some info for an accounting company called Marcum. The email addresses are from Havas, but I’m wondering 1) if it’s real and 2) are there any legal ramifications if I don’t participate? I just don’t feel like giving that agency any more of my time if there’s no ramifications for noping out of this…

Hello! I’m curious what changes or experiments are happening at agencies in light of the great resignation. I personally have had 4 people on my team of 8 leave, and it’s really hard to keep moving forward in this new remote life when you don’t have a strong team around you. Is anyone doing anything interesting to try and improve work/life balance, benefits/comp, communications or team building in this new hybrid space?

What do freelancers do for health insurance?

What are some questions to ask/things to look for before the first time you’re jumping ship that helped you decide whether it was worth it (other than remoteness, salary, and benefits)?

I’ve seen lots of formulas for calculating a freelance/day rate. But what about a rate for a long-term (6mo/12mo) full time (40hr/wk) contract via a staffing firm that offers partially subsidized benefits etc.? Same math?

My agency decided we need to be in the office twice a week so we can “bond” and “collaborate” more. I’m going on maternity leave soon but after that, I’m not coming back. Is this extreme or even stupid?
