I am confused regarding difference between analyst (after engineering) and analyst(after mba) in amex. Is there any difference in responsibilities apart from salary part. I am talking about analytics side(cfr)

Anybody know if/how to use my AMEX Platinum credit for incidental airfare charges towards shipping a pet across country? Going ORD —> SFO and it seems like there are barely any companies that take pets anymore (65 lbs, so can’t ride in-cabin).

Hi, has anyone used Brex and If so how does it compare to a traditional company card from AMEX? My main exec needs a company card and Brex was mentioned as an option by a company we work with.

Moving to Chicago and parents live in northern NJ, both United hub airports. Does it make sense to get the United credit card to access lounge and build up miles to subsidize flights back and forth and for other travels? Was also considering platinum by amex but doesn’t give access to United lounge

Hi! I have an interview coming up at another company and one of the interviewers used to be a manager in my current department at Amex. I am very afraid on what to say if he asks me why am I deciding to leave Amex?
The real reason is because my leader is very toxic and all he does is belittle me. But ofc, I cannot say none of this lol.

What is the best way to use up AMEX points? E.g., flights, hotels etc.

Basic credit card/expensing question. Joining McK as EM (Fall 2022).

My question is specific to hotel reservations - can I put these on a personal card or do these have to go on the corporate Amex?

Rate my redemption! Girlfriend (ATL) and I (DFW) are flying round trip Air France business class to Florence and Rome for 176,000 AMEX MR points = 220,000 Flying Blue miles.

Plus domestic airfare to rendezvous point (JFK) + taxes and fees on international travel: $1,600

Estimated hotel cost after AMEX credit: $841

Plus inter-italy train travel, COVID test, other expenditures.

Estimated retail cost of international tickets is $3,100 each way per person so that's ~64¢/MR point

So, I have 160k of AmEx and 155k of Chase points. I am researching what I can do to make best value out of these points. Can somebody suggest current promotions, etc.? I saw that I can transfer Chase points with 50% bonus to Marriott. TIA

I want to move my savings to a different bank. I didn’t realize Chase only offers .01% APY. Is worth switching? I know Amex offers .75% APY which feels like a significant increase compared to Chase long term. Any advice here?

I am currently working as a Data Science Analyst in Amex and would like to make a switch to Fraud detection/Credit risk modelling in future.(not in a hurry but would like to start preparing for the same)
How should I go about preparing for it? Is MBA the only course?
My current tech stack is Python, Pyspark, Hive, SQL, ML, DL(specifically NLP based). I have already done MS in CS from IIT Kgp.
I am confused mainly cause the tech stack requirement is similar to my role in the company.

Amex platinum or chase sapphire reserve? I have the reserve now but got pissed off by the costumer service and the ultimatum rewards system and am thinking of switching cards. Thoughts?

Any way I can use points to upgrade my UA flight to 1st or business class? Have Amex Plat and United Explorer Mileage Plus.
