Recently got the Amex platinum and love it. However have been looking at the gold’s perks and have fomo on its 4x restaurant points. Is it a good idea to get both? Anyone else have the combo?

The way I’m looking at it - gold would add another $250 in annual fees but I would get $240 in statement credit (Uber & food delivery which I already use) plus better points for restaurants.

How should you manage your credit card situation if you’re joining McKinsey out of college? Do you pay the platinum fee for the company provided Amex and bill your personal expenses in that too? Or do you get another personal card like a CSR? Not sure what they provide vs what you should do on your own.

Newbie here - can you use your Accenture Amex for a person expense? I am wondering because we have to pay it back ourselves in the app anyways? I know this definitely sounds dumb but I’ve heard mixed things

How difficult it is to do in amex? Its been half a year since I joined amex and I am planning to talk to manager after completing one year.

Keen to break into a corporate strategy / strategic initiatives role at a payments org (think visa, Mastercard, Amex, Stripe, PayPal).

Do any of these pay >£110/120k base in the UK and for what level? As a background, I’ve got 6 years of consulting experience (mix of CDD/transformation projects) + 1 year in-house strategy experience at a bank focusing on payments.

Any advice on how to break into the above and if it’s realistic to begin with re comp expectations. Thank you in advance

Any advice on a personal credit card I should get? Credit and annual fee are non issues. Trying to decide between plat amex, boundless, chase reserve? Or just Costco lol? Marriott loyal but not airline loyal (mostly fly out of Sacramento so not as many options to stick with single airline). Biggest spending is on dinning, groceries, regular shopping, hotels. Trying to maximize statuses, lounge access, or if it doesn't make sense just cash back.

May I know when AMEx is going to call its employees to the office.
