@ Slalom - i had a recruiter reach out for a D&A role. first convo was your typical call, intro/what are looking for etc. he set up a call with a person in a similar role - but there was no indication that i was applying for a role/that it was an interview. during that call, i got all of your typical behavioral questions which i was not expecting. now recruiter wants to set up another call with a director but we haven’t confirmed the role/position and compensation etc so i’m confused cont

Hi fishes! I have a final interview for the Transformation Delivery Senior Associate role at KPMG. Wondering if any of you guys could help me with what to expect on that final interview. Looking at some fund accounting roles for pe firms. What should I know going in to an interview? Mostly behavioral but only ever done public accounting (have cpa) and not sure how to address the difference succinctly

I’m going through the transfer process right now and trying to move into Deloitte’s Consulting Ops Trans. I have a behavioral interview next week with a manager in the group, and am wondering if anyone has any tips or insight on what could be asked? I’m assuming this is not the same thing as a case interview, but I’m wondering if they might throw in some case-esque stuff, like “what would you do in this client situation.” Any advice is helpful!!

Is anyone else having a poor experience with recruiters lately? Either they are dropping the ball or the interviewers are neglecting the protocol entirely. Was told that for my next round with a company, the questions would be entirely behavioral so I don’t need to review any technical concepts or practice potential technical questions. Was completely wrapped up in hypothetical behavioral questions drawing from past experiences. Come interview time, I get hit with the following questions…

I have an in person interview this week with a director of the group and will be shown around the office. Would you expect this one to be harder or more like trying to figure out if you are a good fit for their group like the previous one?
