Interviewing for ubs process transformation consultant role and have a case study interview at some point. I’ve never done that before. How do I prep for it?

What type of exit opportunities do people usually leave for? I saw someone leave as a senior consultant and moved into a director role in industry. Is this a common transition?

I'm thinking ahead since I can see the consulting life getting old quick. I'll be doing another few years at the very least for the experience (and $), but curious to hear about how industry employers view healthcare consultants and how we match up with other folks in industry that are applying to the same roles.

Is an interview at Bain guaranteed if I get a referral from a current consultant?

BCG- applying for always open generalist consultant role vs a consultant role in a specific field? I have a decent amount of consulting experience in the role they are advertising but it hasn’t been my entire focus and they are hiring for an expert consultant in that field. Is it possible to apply for both and adjust applications accordingly or stock to one?

Hour long first round interview with a MM consultant friendly PE firm next week — should I expect a model? Or are they likely to fill that hour primarily with behavioral and random technical questions?

Also, if I blow it, is there any risk of burning the bridge with the HH?

16 years experience as HR transformation consultant and on the verge of loosing job coz of no projects after I complete my current project this aug ... sick and tired of applying with no response from recruiter.. looks like I have to drive Uber and work in Walmart to support my family .

I’m looking to join the mothership soon from Deloitte and I have people who can refer me - one who is joining in a weeks and the other who’s been there for a year, does it matter who submits the referral? Also I’m going for an SE SFMC role anything I should know before applying?

FYI - I have 7 certs, all the pardot and sfmc (besides dev) and sfdc admin and consultant

Does the referrer’s position level have any weight or impact when it comes to getting an interview or offer? Like if the referral came from a consultant or a manager/Sr mgr.

Going into a Deloitte GPS case interview totally blind tomorrow...it’s for a analyst/consultant level role. And tips/pointers or general knowledge on what to expect?

After you’ve connected with a consultant on LinkedIn what’s the best practice for asking someone to give you a practice case? To balance respect someone’s time vs coming off as transactional. Should you first ask for coffee chat, then later a case or can you ask for a case in your first “chat”? I am prepping for MBB interviews but I know consultants work crazy hours so I don’t want to take up more time than necessary - what would you prefer? What is the best practice?

How long did you prep for data science interviews before applying?
Consultant doing technical work, but real work feels more specialized than school. So I've forgotten quite a bit, yet DS interviews at Amazon seem to want us to walk through a wide variety of algorithms.
Should I start studying before I get an interview offer?

A lot of PM work involves using customer data and feature requests to drive ideation/prioritization. As a consultant, I haven’t been exposed to this type of data because we usually are moved to another project as soon as we launch/go-live with our solution. So there isn’t really a chance to see how it did or analyze different features success. I’m looking for tips on how to address this in an interview.
