KPMG Senior consultant compensation? Interviewing with the Montreal office and being told they cannot even match my current salary (85k). 1.5YOE + masters degree

During an interview a former Consultant said he ran his team like a “Consulting Firm/Team.” The Org has a number of other consultants in leadership positions. Is this something to be concerned about?

How different is the interview structure for consultant level to manager level?
I’m assuming there is still a case but would it be as simple as a profitability or operations case?

I worked for a desi consultant for several years and left for a startup last year. Now he is saying he will not honor the future employement green card he filed back in the day as dates have become current , I want to mess him up. There were several pay issues and fudging of documents when we were applying for immigration paperwork. What’s the best way to approach this? I would like Max collateral damage.

Hey guys, hoping some of you Deloitte fish can help answer at least one of the following:
1) Upcoming interview with the cloud strategy group at the Consultant level, any tips for interview prep, especially around the case portion?
2) What salary breakdown should I shoot for at the C level? I awkwardly blurted out $100k base when pressured for a number in the initial call, did I shoot myself in the foot, or did I anchor high enough?

Having trouble writing external resume. As a consultant, I’ve had multiple titles/clients. Been out of work for about a year now, been interviewing and actively since being laid off due to companys budget cut. Was in final / decision rounds before covid and everything has been tbd or rescinded since. Responses have been few and far in between and now the year gap is becoming a concern.

Interviewing for SFMC consultant role with both larger global firms with big enterprise projects and smaller growing firms with more interesting project roles.
Bigger firms are keeping me in the pipeline while smaller wants to hurry and hire me already. Any tips?
I do prefer global for name since I’m an American in Germany but smaller sounds more interesting & higher growth potential.

Interviewing for a TAM role in Google Cloud Org, what pay can I expect coming in with 3 years experience in consulting? Currently a Consultant

CapGemini said they are ready to give me an offer. I initially quoted them $115k-$130k and they basically asked for my best number at time of offer. I told them I had more interviews coming up, but I would accept $130k or more on the spot, and give up my other interviews. They said they would get back to me - is this normal practice? I anticipated a number from them, and I counter that?

Feeling confused: I interviewed for a position at a large well-know firm, 6 rounds of interviews (Final with Director), then they called to negotiate salary and said they would like to make me an offer, 2 weeks of silence, now I get an email saying they want me to do an additional interview with an associate consultant at the company.... are they buying time? What’s going on? I’ve already talked to the director

So I’m a second year consultant. Like most, I was disappointed with compensation this year and am pretty bearish on my future earning potential here. I’m currently interviewing with a big tech company (not FAANG but close) for a position with substantially higher pay as a business analyst. I really wanted to stay til SC/M but the money is too good to pass up. I guess my question is: are there any major downsides to exiting to industry “too early?” Has anyone done it and regretted it?

I know everyone says never to use your current comp as part of negotiation but is it ok to do so in this current situation? A boutique firm has reached out because they are interested in my background. I’m at 120k as a consultant now and will potentially be at ~150k as a manager in December. The boutique firm would like to interview me for a consultant level position and on Glassdoor the average salary is 80k. How do I approach? I don’t think it makes sense to leave for less than $160k.
