What's a good offer (base, bonus, RSU) for a Director in CSG in Dallas or Chicago? Just starting interviewing.

Anyone at Innovaccer or heard of the org? I have been following them for a while and now interviewing for a director of strategy growth role. TIA!

I have a fifth and final interview this week for a director level role at Blackrock. It’s with the hiring manager, who I’ve spoken to before, and a big MD. Any advice for this last meeting? I really want the job.

Need some insight. Have been interviewing with a biotech firm for a director role. The process has taken almost three months now. I have basically lost interest at this point but waiting to see what the offer would be. They’ve just contacted my references as they are now in the pre-offer stage. Should I take this as a red flag 🚩 by how slow this process has taken.

I am Already through the first round of interview with Sr Manager at PwC. Next round is behavioral round with director and then another final round with director. What you guys think are the odds to make it through the next 2 rounds when the first technical round is clear ? Thanks in advance.

Is anyone familiar with these Introduction Calls? Are they evaluative? Is it just a courtesy to the Senior Partner which generally won't lead to an interview? Any help appreciated.

How many take home interview case studies is too much? Recently had 2 interviews. One for Corp dev director and another for PE portco ops. They all mentioned multiple rounds of take home case studies in which you have a week to several days to complete and present. Is this normal? I don’t have the time or energy to do this crap while doing CDD projects. How do you guys handle this?

Final FP&A interview tomorrow with the director. Have already had one interview with the hiring manager, and two interviews with the team. What should I expect for tomorrow? Recruiter who scheduled the interview said keep doing what you’re doing and be yourself. Does that mean the team didn’t think I was myself during their interviews? Or am I reading into this too much?

I have declined an offer at a really cool company with an awesome team because it would be a 20% paycut. I want the team to keep me in mind for the future as director+ positions open up. Would you send thank you emails to people who interviewed you on the super day, or let the recruiter (who was awesome and I think she’ll actually follow through) communicate this for your?

Said another way, would it be awkward to directly email these people when you’re declining due to comp?

Ethics question: my mom is a director at a large biopharmaceutical company. For open positions, there is contact info that is provided (hiring manager).

Not sure what her company policy is but would it be frowned upon for me to ask her to give me the contact info so I can send an email directly to that person about my interest in that position (on top of formally applying after being referred)? Don’t want to put my mom in a precarious spot but at the same time I really want this job.

I’m currently interviewing for a promotion for an executive director role in NYC that I think I have a pretty good chance of getting (assuming the comp discussions go in my favor.) The office is located in Midtown East. My wife and I don’t have any children yet and I am unwilling to live in a 500 ft apt so I’m looking outside the city. I need some suggestions on where to live with keeping my commute under an hour.

EY Parthenon contacted me about a Director role. Interviews went well. Recruiter is working on an “approval for an offer that may take a week or two”. Seems like they’re stalling or may be putting me on the back burner. I asked them to expedite as I have another offer. Anyone have a similar experience? If they’re interviewing I’d assume they already have approval to make an offer.... makes me wonder if I should go elsewhere....

I have two 30 min phone interviews with a senior direct and director. How different can I expect these two interviews to be, or will they be similar?

I interviewed for a finance director position this week with just the CFO. It went really well. They asked how I viewed the fact that I'm 32 and the controller is 30, to which I didn't ask a "good" answer because to me age doesn't matter; I had older people on my teams and it was never an issue. I suspect that the topic might pop up again during the 2nd interview with HR. How do I approach it? TYIA

Royally screwed my final interview (with the global team lead and director) at Facebook. This one got scheduled at the last minute today morning. Completely unprepared, messed up the responses, likely didn’t give them what they were looking for. Right before the interview got pulled on project call. Feeling so dejected, after clearing the last 5 rounds. So close but now so far.
