Salary expectations for Senior Financial Analyst with Amazon? For those who have transitioned into this role, any insight on cash compensation in the PNW? I got reached out to by an internal recruiter that is asking for my cash comp expectation but I don’t want to lowball or state too much either…so what is reasonable?

Hey guys, I'm a recent graduate trying to get into a Data Analyst Position. I mainly use Python, SQL, Excel for my projects. What would you recommend I add to the list to learn that will better my chances at landing a job? I don't have any experience this is my first tech job I am trying to apply for.

Considering an analyst role at F500 tech company in their FP&A team. Role responsibilities are: budgeting / forecasting, M&A and little accounting work. This role has a rotational focus and starts at 94k + 10% bonus. I am going up for SA this year (2 YOE, .5 at KPMG) and currently make 80k. Should I make this jump or wait until SA for other exit opportunities? Ideally was looking for strategy positions but I see alot of FP&A exits here too.

What is the entry level CTC IQVIA offers to freshers(Analyst) role?

Has anyone worked in the disaster recovery Space and went directly into fraud? I’ve worked on disaster recovery projects as a Quality Assurance Analyst. Essentially we make sure no fraud is occurring. I haven’t had any luck finding a remote fraud role without my applications getting denied. I’ve been thinking about getting my CFE, as I’m sure that might help.

I’m at a T2 and have an offer for MBB at junior associate level but also buy side analyst role at a LMM PE fund. Pay would be similar MBB - higher base, PE - more potential bonus (up to 100%). Any advice on what to do. The fund is small (c. 2b over 4 raised funds) and somewhat no name while MBB is known.

Hello fellow 🐠! I have 5 YOE, a Master’s degree, and I am currently working as a financial analyst. My question is whether or not a 65% pay increase that would come with a new role within same company would be detrimental to my career in the long term. The title is “Business Process Analyst” and it seems to be a great way to gain exposure and learn an incredible amount about the company. Is the growth potential there? Would I be giving up a career in finance that I could never return to?

Is $80K in NYC for a senior analyst role (3 YOE) fair?

Title question: Recently I applied to a Senior Data Scientist role, however the title when HR reached out was Senior Analyst, Data Science. They do refer to it as a data scientist, so my question is: is that how it normally is- the title is “analyst”, “manager”, etc and the team is Data Science?

I currently work at Deloitte as an entry level analyst in the tech space (almost at my 1 year mark). I’m also attending GaTech for a masters in analytics in hopes of pivoting to a data science role.
