as a junior art director how can i find a job in another city? specifically looking at the west coast - i feel like it’s hard to position myself as a possible candidate even though i have some good talent. Like what should/can i say in a cover letter to let them know i’m serious about relocation and work.

So with ad student about to graduate soon, me being one of them, how are agencies hiring or will agencies be hiring during this pandemic because most of us had our hopes set on getting a job and moving. So which agencies are hiring now despite the pandemic.

so i’ve been freelancing and was talking about going staff until covid hit and they paused hiring. so i took a job elsewhere, lower pay, making graphics for social media. i’m prioritizing stability since i support my parents. but if you were me, what would be your plan? i was a little bummed by the role, i don’t mind production work but i was kind of in talks for art director and yeah, would it be bad to leave my new job in 4 months or so supposedly when things get better?

Interviewing for an AD/CW team with my significant other....but the agency doesn’t know we’re dating yet and we originally didn’t know the jobs were for a team role. We work well together but are curious if this is allowed? When should we tell them we’re dating? Lol

Why are the art directors staying late more so than any other position at ad agencies? Do they also get paid more than most other roles at equal levels?

1.75 FT YOE + internships, want to apply for a Knowledge Analyst role, where an ext job ad says 2-4 YOE vs internal BCG ad says 3-4 YOE.
