How is WLB and learning growth in Bain Capability network? I am in the process of getting offer for Senior Associate role? What is the salary range for that?

What is the transition feasibility from in-house counsel to law firm. Really want to go into litigation. No bites on my apps. But randomly got something for an in-house counsel position where I’d be making $40-70k above an associate position. And that range just depends on the firm. Conflicted here. I am currently a criminal defense attorney with 1 year of practice from an office that provides great experience.

Was reached out to by LEK and interviewed and landed offer for Consultant role. Current Experienced Associate at Strategy& and have been here for about a year now doing a lot of fit for growth or basic strategy projects. Is this worth taking? I am more interested in finance and seems like LEK does more CDD work than S&. Thoughts?

Recruiter said they submitted me for a position; I never heard back on that specific firm so reached out myself and firm said they had no prior knowledge or contact with that recruiter and gave me an immediate interview. I ended up joining and just got an email from recruiter saying I’m surprised you didn’t tell me because I submitted you there. Fact is I had an offer from another firm and recruiter was being very shady when I asked to ask firm to connect me with another associate…contd below..

Exit opportunities for a first year Associate in tax? I don’t really understand the material and at this point I feel like I’m just doing administrative tasks for my seniors. I applied for the full time Associate position at BCG and didn’t make it through the final decision round. I got feedback that I need more preparation with casing. I recently got offer from Infosys Limited for Senior Associate Consultant role.
YOE : 4.8
CTC offered : 10.17 Fixed + 1.13 Variable

Am I being underpaid? Should I look for opportunities?

I am a senior associate who is notable in the market due to my consistently excellent results on large matters in my field of law. I am being approached by a law firm to lateral over, and would like a partnership position if I were to make the leap. But junior partners at that firm don’t even make what I would want if I were to head over there. Can I negotiate more than junior partner pay there? Other law firm has a two-tier partnership. What else is on the table to negotiate?
