Folks in EY! would you happen to have any insights on the case study interview process? This is for a senior consultant position.

Just switched from end user environment to consulting. Any other consultants willing to share salary and their role? I’m at $140k as SC which I thought was pretty decent until seeing what consultants in other sectors made. I’ve got plenty of certain and skills to back it up

Currently an associate at KPMG, looking to jump to another big 4 or boutique consulting firm. I have 5 years total experience, 3 in a technical role and 2 in consulting. Should I be applying to SA/SC roles or move laterally, for ex. Associate at K to Consultant at D. Most likely to be promoted to SA this year at K though. No MBA.

SC that have became manager. How have your responsibilities shifted? I am interviewing with companies for a manager role and they kept trying to bring me in a level lower. I have managed internal teams, led RFPs, limited external team exp (due to nature of projects) but frequent interaction with clients. How do I show that I am manager material

Any advice on how to succeed when being pulled into a very messy project? So far it has had very high turnover, is understaffed, and I’ve even been told by some that they would quit if they had to work on my work stream. I’m a SC but seems like I’ll somewhat be operating at a manager level role while also being expected to do the more detailed analyst level work (which is a lot). I got hit up to interview for an SC role at Accenture for Cyber. Currently a second year consultant at D for cyber. I like my team/coach/leadership a lot and I wasn’t planning to exit anytime soon, although, I’m also not anticipating making SC this year. Does it make sense to always interview for these opportunities and see if anything comes out of it?

I have received an offer from Delloitte USI for Banglore location, Senior consultant role. I am very excited, but most of the reviews say you have to slog daily 11-12 hours. Is that true? If not, then any idea how many hours one generally spends there in busy and normal work days?
I totally understand that's its project related, but still a vauge idea would be much appreciated.

Generally speaking, when a job posting is listed as associate, senior consultant, etc. is the firm open to hiring a qualified candidate for the level below? For example, if a job posting is for an associate with 4 YOE, would the company entertain the idea of hiring an analyst with 2 YOE?

Recruiter from Accenture Tech/IPS reached out for Tech Supply Chain role, what should I expect salary wise for someone 1.5 years post MBA? Assuming it’ll be a Senior Consultant offer

I was notified today that my PERM labor market testing failed 3 months ago. Lawyer wants to add a new requirement to my JD which I don’t meet. I was told that I have to meet that in order to be promoted (currently a SC and the JD is for a manager position) and do the labor testing again. Is it true? Any workaround?

Need advice: Had a screening covo with a recruiter about making a lateral transition (SC > SC) where the recruiter asked about what type of past projects/clients I had worked on in the past. At the end of the call, the recruiter said maybe I didn’t have enough management experience to be considered for SC role. I am currently leading a team of 10 and have led consultants/analyst in all recent past projects. Should I follow up with the recruiter via email to clarify this experience?

QQ: What can one negotiate in terms of base pay for senior consultant role at deloitte in Salesforce practice? I have 9 years of experience with 5 in Salesforce. My current base pay is around $135k in the company I work for.

Applied for a Deloitte SC role in UK and completed the final interview a couple of weeks back. Yet to hear back. Tried a chaser to the recruiter but no response. Is it time to look elsewhere?

Got an offer from a boutique consulting firm in New York. Currently an Analyst up for promotion this June. Current pay is $85k and the offer is for $116.5k for a Senior Consultant role. I will be doing same work. FSI and banking client will be working on Data Transformation projects in Reg. Should i take the offer? PROS/VONS? I am a Permanent Resident to visa is not an issue. To all my Canadian 🐠 in Consulting, I need your help please :) I am a management consulting analyst at Accenture, it’s been 1.5 years and I have an interview at KPMG coming up. When I spoke to the recruiter, she said she would consider me for a Consultant role (which is the same level as my current level at Accenture, at KPMG they start at consultant, at Accenture we start as analyst).
