Looking to transition to a new role but I am not certain about the salary for a staff attorney at a nonprofit in San Francisco. Does anyone know on average the salary range? Thank you!

Salary for entry level/staff EY’s technology advisory program in NYC?

Have any fishes joined a startup as a chief of staff after 2 - 5 YOE? What did your comp look like? How do you enjoy your role, and what about it is different from consulting?

I received an offer from consulting company for project model meaning to work for the same client due to a multi year engagement. Overall, I am getting around 50K jump from current salary which includes signing bonus as well base. My current employer calls themself management consulting but in reality its staff augmentation with bench time. This new opportunity does not have bench time but as I said pay is good with again staff augmentation. I am confuse if I should accept this offer or not?

What do you guys think of a Sales Strategy Manager at a Series D AI software company valued at $800M (top investors, well funded, 100%+YoY growth, large market).

I’m 25M 3.5 YOE and don’t know if I want to be in “Sales”. I’ll be the only person in the company with a “strategy” title, and would hopefully parlay it into a Corp Dev // Chief of Staff role down the line.

Thoughts on the role, trajectory, and potential comp?

Is it all worth it?
I started out in PA 01/16 at 60k and full of energy at a midsize firm in NYC Audit, I stayed for 2 years shortly after I made senior for a few reasons but I digress, I went to a top 10 PA and stayed for 7 months making 75K and got a small bonus, work life balance was worse, all new clients and shit absentee managers and way more miserable staff/Seniors, at that point I had enough after 3 busy seasons and a culture that was eat your hours and grind as a plebe for continued....

Interviewing for a chief of staff role at a startup that’s raised about $14M so far. What should I look for when assessing if this is a good opportunity?

Would work directly with CEO and expecting cash compensation of 100K and 0.25% of equity. Is the equity % low?

CEO hopes to sell at 100M, meaning the equity would be valued at 60K a year (4 yrs), but this seems optimistic to me.

What is the fastest way as a Cpa, to get to $100k salary? I know that being a staff account and working your way up is a slow process. What other jobs get me to $100k faster (maybe internal audit or fp&a) or should I just learn to code and get a job in IT ?

I’m a staff w/ MS in Comp Sci. What avenues or roles exist for someone to exit into the industry (mostly big tech) after spending 2 years at a big 4? Is it sensible to wait until you’re a Manager (4 years) and why if this is the case ? What about making a move within the first year itself?

Planned on giving all staff gift cards for Christmas, but one just put in her notice effective right in the middle of my Christmas vacation after she got a bonus from the boss. I'm not feeling jolly, or frankly courteous, anymore.

How is the Slalom Boston office? What are the opportunities and culture like? Do they do variable salary (less money on bench) and staff aug?

Looking to relocate to London from US. For context, Sr. BA at McK who is JEMing. Have done most of my work in strategy, mostly in retail and social sector.

Would prefer to switch jobs, ideally doing strategy or chief of staff roles in retail, but open to industry.

- Knowing it’ll vary, but what salary range is realistic for my YOE, time at McK, and the UK labor market?
- would I be better off transferring with McK? Would prefer to switch jobs though

FDD salary, bonus and hours for Staff 2 / Senior?

How much would you invest (cash and loan) for a relatively stable franchise that as a median number produce the following: $1.6mm revenue and $350m gross profit (royalty fees, staff, occupancy but no owner salary or loan amortization). Takes about 6 months ramp to that point.

Curious what everyone’s bonus structure for their admin staff is like this year? Obviously a crazy year and they came in almost every day among everything has happened and has done quality work. Do you base it off of growth at all? Percentage of salary? Doing anything outside of your norm for 2020?

Currently 1.5 YOE - EY Staff II in LCOL city $60,000 total comp and able to save and invest roughly 50% of my income. Is a Start up Banking associate role at Silicon Valley Bank in NYC worth the jump? I don’t have hard comp numbers yet, but wondering what comp would make it worth leaving if I have future goals of leaping to VC. How’s the perception of SVB?

Question about overtime on salary—if we’re on salary and working till 2AM, and not getting paid overtime due to being on staff, does that mean the agency is billing clients for all those extra hours and pocketing all of it? 🤔

Tax Staff 1, currently making 56k. You think it’s wild if I ask for 59/60 as a salary raise ?

Was let go as a staff 2 at 77k in September and currently have 3 offers in deciding between them. Would really appreciate any feedback. 1. 3rd year associate at PWC -HIA at 85k. 2. Transformation analyst at a big 3 automaker 83.5k 10% bonus. 3. Product development role at a healthcare startup. 100k 7.5k sign on and 7.5k bonus in 3 months. Potential 20% bonus at year end.

I’ve been proposed an exit as Product Owner at a real company, not a consulting one. Staff seems nice, good culture, good salary (less than consulting but well), BUT I would have to move countries for that job and start a new life.

I’ve also been proposed a Manager position at a consulting company in my home city, with potential of bigger salary thanks to bonuses. Culture seems good... But I’m sure it’s gonna be a hell lot of work.

Which one would you take? Should I exit and never look back?

Have a long term goal of growing a full service office. A team of wealth managers, planners, life insurance agent(s), PC agent(s), etc. with support staff as needed. Everyone has a role. My question is how should I structure the comp? No idea what’s standard in this structure or where to even research models in our industry. Any ideas?

Hello everyone, I would to hear other people’s thoughts. So my mom runs a company which her and other employees salary is paid by their members (trade association). She’s above 60 and takes a medicine which makes her a higher risk for COVID. The members are having a convention in Florida in a few months, and while “there’s no for staff to be there”.. she’s running the meeting so they’re expecting her to be there. She doesn’t want to go but feels huge Professional pressure. I think it’s CTD

How are staff attorneys treated in biglaw? What’s the typical difference in salary between a staff attorney and an associate at the same firm? A biglaw firm is looking to fill a staff attorney position, but it looks like everyone has the title of associate on the firm’s website. Any thoughts or guidance would be much appreciated.

Big 4 managers who are on h1b, is your base salary hitting the new level 2 wage? I guess unless Big 4 can somehow justify seniors can still use the new level 1 wage, there won’t be any chance for staff and seniors who want to get h1b?

Been at PwC tax for a little more than a year. Thinking about switching to a smaller local firm for a better salary and something I would like to do. Due to the current market and the reduction of staff many firms are conducting, would this be a smart idea?

I’m really skeptical that firms will be paying those of us that progressed less than incoming staff just out of my own experience where I came in as staff 1 earning more than the staff 2 when I started for the same service line.
