What do you guys think of a Sales Strategy Manager at a Series D AI software company valued at $800M (top investors, well funded, 100%+YoY growth, large market).

I’m 25M 3.5 YOE and don’t know if I want to be in “Sales”. I’ll be the only person in the company with a “strategy” title, and would hopefully parlay it into a Corp Dev // Chief of Staff role down the line.

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?

Went into industry a couple months ago. Previously 3 years in consulting. Okay gig but doesn’t feel right for me and want to apply elsewhere.
