I hope you're doing well. I have couple of offers at hand and I am really confused what to choose.

1) Infosys Hyderabad - As Technical Test Lead - 13.5 LPA(including variable pay)

2) PWC AC Kolkata- As Testing Senior Associates - 15 LPA (fixed pay) and additional variable

I can compromise on CTC over work life balance, job security. I have a child to take care, would like WFH opportunities. Please suggest.

For those of you that have left big four, have you found industry to have more work life balance? Do you still have some flexibility in industry like how you can work almost from anywhere or flex your hours while in Big 4 (excluding wfh due to Covid)?

Which one to join, I have 12+ yrs of exp?
I have offer from Birlasoft and Genpact. Birlasoft offering 1 lakh higher than Genpact. I am looking for work life balance and flexibility such as work from home.

What's more important to you👇 (Answer honestly)

1.) Compnay A is giving WFH, 5 day's a week working & a good team with nice Work Life balance but the CTC is 5 lakh less than Compnay B.

2.) Compnay B is giving you 5 lakh more CTC than Compnay A, But mostly prefer you to join office, 5 days a week working but due to high work pressure working 6 days is Normal to complete project tasks, don't have WLB.

Note: Both A&B Company is MNC'S and competitor to each other

Which Company will you choose?

I got selected in Wipro with a hike around 39% while I'm serving notice period I have got selected in Guardian Life which is an Insurance sectors company where my offer is 56% hike. Now I'm confused to which company I need to join.

Java 8, spring Boot, Kubernetes, docker.
I have never switched before and been with Infosys since start.

Kindly help with below queries

1)which companies I should target? I will probably get IBM offer tomorrow for 19LPA ( not yet resigned and notice period is 90 days)

2)How much CTC I should expect?

3)obviously work life balance but more leaning towards companies providing permanent or atleast partial WFH env

How can I negotiate an offer from a top tech company offering a Software Engineer position.

Currently working at Deloitte where my team promised unlimited wfh and here the work life balance is top notch.

Tech company has a very bad repo of bad work life balance and it’s mandatory to work from office.

Average basic salary for this position is 15L per Glassdoor and other websites but they’re offering me 13L

Pros : Good Company, Bangalore Location
Cons: May not have work life balance
UHG - 19.5, which includes 15% variable
Pros - RPA Technology, Work Life Balance
Cons - Gurgaon Location ( till the time it is work from home, it is great as I want to stay in Bangalore)

Has anybody heard of Aviatrix company?It is a startup and i got offer of 25 lakhs from them.I am also getting permanent work from home.I am confused right now to choose between Aviatrix,Wipro,Deloitte usi.I am very worried about work life balance as i have heard lot of negative reviews regarding deloitte usi wlb issues.which to join.package offered is 20 deloitte usi,21 wipro...is it advisable yo koin a startup instead of a well established company

Asking on behalf of a friend.
She is having 10 years of experience into SAP SD and have 2 offers in hand Deloitte India and HCL, both with similar packages and location.
She is confused and require your help in choosing one. Her main parameters for choosing are work life balance, job security and job flexibility as in wfh options.

I am highly interested in permanent Work From Home Opportunity with good work life balance and job security. I have offers from IBM, EPAM anywhere, and Nagarro.
Compensation offered Nagarro > EPAM anywhere > IBM.
Which one should I join ?

Advice please- During the pandemic I moved onto an account that is run out of another office location, so I will be able to WFH when we need to return to the office (my dream!), but I was just offered a job at my dream company (L’Oréal), but will need to be in the office 3x/week ASAP/no agency holidays. Work from home has become life hack for most of IT Consultants, but it also has become nightmare for managers. lots of unwanted meetings are spring up along with Expectations of clients are all time high.
At the eod managers don't even know if team you are relying on will support you coZ there is less bonding with team due to wfh or they feel no responsibility towards work and even starts threatening using term work life balance. Is it fair to managers??? Or do you have solution to this??

Hi all, I would appreciate your thoughts - I’ve been really struggling to adjust to long-term WFH and just have been extremely unhappy with it (feelings of isolation, burnout, hopelessness). I realize I’m not spending time on commute and such, not wearing uncomfortable clothes, but I’m still really miserable. I feel like most of my daily joy used to come from live interaction with people. I know many of y’all are really thriving on WFH and need your help / thoughts on how best to adjust. TIA!!

Is it just me or did WFH and quarantine make us appreciate work-life balance more? Life is short and I should probably spend more time with family and friends.

Did any one of you face micro management by your leads? If so how do you handle it in this wfh cases during Covid to have better work life balance?
