Is it weird that I feel less technically knowledgeable after a year and a half of audit than when I graduated? I just started a technical accounting job, and there are glaring gaps in my knowledge of basic stuff I knew during college. I just never saw it in audit.

Sometimes I wonder how employees at my client site get anything done. I'm in a cubicle farm and I just hear so many social conversations about diets, relationship troubles, hobbies, etc. Get to work!

The owner is mad and feels my case is biased and suspended me. He admitted guild and its not about what happened but why! Is there any issue, if the designation at the time of offer is different than that of relieving? Asking because, I am leaving IBM GBS, have told my designation as Senior software engineer ( offer letter had it) to the other company, but got to know that designation IBM will be writing on relieving letter will be application developer.

Has anyone started an S-corp and later gone full time? Husband has been freelancing full time since last summer. Initially we thought it would be six months before converting to FT, but he’s been extended as an independent contractor until 2023. Ideally that sticks because he’s making north of $300k but he’s been hesitant to go S-corp in case they decide to make him convert. What happens to the S-corp in that scenario?
