Looking for some pay range information. I’m a national manager for a home health type setting for Neurodiagnostics. I run 2 departments (EEG technicians and EKG technicians) I have 7 direct reporting managers below me and 100 technicians who umbrella under them and they are scattered across the US. Im in charge of monthly reporting, hiring/firing, assist with recruiting/forecasting where we are having growth, mentor, coaching for development, oversee unit and supply inventory, cont in comments

Got an offer from Capgemini for a cloud architect position based in Dallas, TX. Here is what they are offering
Level C2
Base pay 160K (I had asked for 190K)
YOE ~17 years (9 years as Architect)
I know the offer is not good. What do they typically offer (level & comp.) for this experience level?

Me: Hi, can I please get a report of (insert report name here)?
Individual: *sends screenshot*
Me: This is great! Can you please send to me the report?
Individual: *sends screenshot of another report*
Me: You know what, never mind! *copies and pastes screenshots into word document and adds to the audit file* Done!

During background checks does the future employer contact the current employer. And if they do, do they contact your managers? I have resigned but I don’t want anyone in my current company to know that I have an offer.

Three job interviews with a company, last one creating a marketing plan and presenting to marketing VP. I received good feedback from him. Three days later recruiter wants to give me a call and “give an update”. Schedules it after 2 days. This morning cancels last minute as they are having “internal discussions”. I’m really annoyed and tired. Thoughts?

Would you accept a job offer where pair programming is mandated 100% of the time? I have no real experience pair programming so would like some perspective.

What’s the sense of becoming a partner at a larger firm where you can’t even really make business decisions since there are so many partners higher than you? I’ve wanted start my own business since I was about 5 years old and can’t wrap my head around what the draw to partner is outside of the high pay. Any insight?

Hello guys! I work as a Campus Tech, I deal with 1200 kids for a Charter K-8th grade and 100 staff. I love working with a school district due to the amount of time we have off during school and summer off. But I’m debating on the pay I feel as I’m under pay for the amount of work that I do, troubleshooting Chromebook’s, laptops, printers, & projects…anything that plugs into the wall I cover. Does anyone else work with school district doing IT work for. My end goal is getting to an ISD school
