You could see a perinatologist in conjunction with your OB or insist on more ultrasounds. I have been in your shoes. I would also suggest therapy with someone who specializes in pre and postpartum issues.
You may wish to consider an ob/gym that specializes in high risk pregnancies. It made all the difference!
I’m on the same boat, 25 weeks now. My obgyn got me a consultation and a level 2 ultrasound with a high risk doctor. I think it kinda helped me. She also recommended doing non stress tests weekly after 32 weeks. From what she describes, it’s an amniotic fluid check plus checking pattern of baby’s heartbeat to make sure things are going alright. All of that may be overkill depending on your history, but the least they could offer is a weekly heartbeat check with a doppler. Besides that, whenever I feel anxious, I sit quietly and press my hands on my tummy. Around 23-24 weeks I feel like my baby starts to respond to touch so usually this wakes her up. Also eat a little, mine definitely responds to a bit of carb and sugar :)
Op - How old are you if you don’t mind me asking?
