Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

We met at work
Also meeting people post pandemic has been hard for everyone, including making new friendships. I wish there was a way to bring people together.
We met through mutual friends at a Labor Day cookout. Enjoyed chatting at the party and kept meeting at other group activities. Then decided to go out on an official date and voila.
Isn’t that the same if gay or straight? It doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with you. A lot of relationships are set in the 20s so just fewer options available.

Why does your being Asian matter? 🙄🙄🙄
D1 is correct. I have thick skin and I have faced subtle (and occasionally not too subtle) discrimination due to my race throughout my life but never has my understanding of race been made so much more pronounced and clear than by the gay community.
This is not to say that there is a systemic problem but a small minority is enough to do a lifetime of damage.

I met my husband at grad school by using grindr on campus.
There's a lot of "how to meet people" threads. Usual answers include but are not limited to LGBT focused: volunteering, sports, activity/hobby groups, meetups, professional organizations.
In NYC, you probably have more options available to you than anyone else on earth, so the limiting factor is what you're willing and able to do, not the number of opportunities.
