A colleague (attorney of color) told me that the managing partner talked to him about going to a part-time schedule since he was not billing full-time hours. He said he is working very hard to hit his hours, but he’s young and just a few years out of law school. I did not have a similar conversation with the managing partner. I’m worried his job is on the line, and he just doesn’t know it yet. Should I talk to him about what the partner conversation “really” meant? Sounds like job is not secure…

I told my boss about my ADHD in confidence because I was looking for a small accommodation (working from home x2 a week). I got it, but now I lowkey feel like she told other people in the office. This week I had to send an e-mail about InvF, and he complained to me that he hadn’t seen the draft…how do I respond?

I'm feeling a lot of anger towards my manager (now he's acting normal but there were moments where he was condescending/dismissive/mocked my and others work/arrogant/said stuff was "wrong" constantly/belittling the difficulty of tasks etc. in the past project).

What’s a good starting salary for a newer attorney? I’ve never worked anywhere but in the public sector (even before becoming an attorney). What are the chances of getting a lower offer because you're POC applying at a fairly large law firm? Not big law or anything but still.
