Wow Accenture is shit how do they keep talent
How do MD’s make less than our SM’s
I’m assuming an average 15%-20% cash bonus.
If I’m not hitting the scenario above I’ll question why I’m in such a high stress position for otherwise sub-par comp
Can someone care to elaborate about GAB, L1/L4 terms etc..
Same boat...my attitude is unless you have an offer in hand there’s little reason not to see what happens.
Financially, definitely many more lucrative options; kind of depends on what kind of work you want to do, what kind of work/life balance you want, financial ambitions, etc.
Very feasible to make decent money at ACN but all relative to what good/decent means to you.
For the sake of anchoring expectations, what are we calling “decent money”?

SM1. What do you think? I would say 400k all in is decent to good. But my sense is you would need to be an L3 to get close to that
Let’s say L4 starts at mid 200 base, to hit 400 all in you would need around 60% of base in GAB, equity, and the MD stock program. Since the last one can be up to 15% by itself regardless of performance you would need to bring another 110K or so in the other comp types.
I think it’s doable before L3, but probably not in year 1-2, and you’d need to do pretty well in your calls
The question is how does that compare to other firms? Not MBB... we all know that comparison is crap
I set expectations around 230k base, 40k stock, 40k cash. All of that before MD stock program.
Hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
40k cash assuming full gab payout?
Publicly traded company?
Deloitte1. What kind of salary are you looking at for SMs and then directors? Considering a move before I make md and get stuck behind a noncompete
I know a 3rd year SM at Deloitte who made $350k last year all in
D1, we have SMs in ACN that make significantly more than the numbers quoted above as well tho...one data point, the SM I worked with on my last project had $260k base salary
A
I know a SM (and good friend) who is making 270 base right now.
FWIW, we’re leaving out the initial equity grant which is $200K w/ a 5 year cliff vest.
I still don’t think it makes the deal that much better
$200k is a typical equity grant for a Google/FB engineering hire with 2-3 years of exp...
Right which is why I said it doesn’t make it much better
