Any advice on managing up at work? It’s becoming clear to me that senior leadership doesn’t really understand what a data scientist does even though they hired me. I left a more challenging job building and deploying machine learning models for this current role and I’m getting asked to do basic statistics. I have came up with some of my own NLP projects to help the team. I’m just kind of sad at the low level of data science knowledge. Advice on how to plan for the next year?
