Pain but not excruciating. And it ebbs and flows. Definitely should talk to your gynecologist. There was something on the nightly news last week about dense breast tissue & some mandatory changes that doctors must communicate to women w/dense breasts. Have had two “suspicious” situations one of which required w biopsy but thankfully not cancer. Family history id important & provides perspective on what is “normal” for you. Please talk to your doctor. He/she can better alleviate your worries.
i did on and off for a couple months last year around this time and it eventually resolved itself as i haven't had any since (doesn't mean i won't have it again, but in the meantime i've had a whole slew of other annoying symptoms i can only chalk up to perimenopause). chat w/ your doc; i'm sure they will assuage your mind (that + mammogram eased mine). and i hope it starts resolving itself soon <3
Already saw the gyn twice and applied Progesteron hormone gel. At first it helped, then it came back and now it stays. So I will probably have to see her again. To me, this is a whole new pain category. Never had this before, could not even imagine how it might feel like. Have it day and night and sometimes it gives me kind of anxiety because it feels so confining. Monk pepper is supposed to help, she recommended that, too. May try this out soon. Thank you for your reply, FSD1!
You know, I was thinking my breasts are extremely sensitive with some pain. I’m probably suffering from that as well. I’m glad I read this post.
Oh good, happy that it helped you raise your awareness and sorry that you are going through the same. I am only worried that it may develop into something serious. Best to you, A1!
