Is it normal for people to ask for a raise when more responsibility/task fall under them? Me: I don’t want us to have a confrontational relationship and I think we can agree something needs to change. When you make stupid decisions, that affects my business and it makes me feel like you’re not up to the job. That makes it harder for my team to do our jobs. What is the advice on what feedback to leave for a peer who really sucks at everything y'all have worked together on? I started working for a new law firm, much larger than the firm I was working for previously. The main attorney that I work under had noticed some mistakes I was making (I am a NY paralegal who took this position with the understanding that they’d be teaching me NJ and NYC real estate). Anyways, the attorney decided to tell the HR manager about the mistakes I had been making. Rather than HR discussing with me, the manager told my dramatic coworker to tell me..how should I handle this? Very hurt!

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. A week or so ago, someone shared a stacked bar chart of each MBB/Big 4 firm that highlighted the percentage of consultants that say they work 40, 50, 60 hours etc a week at each firm. I have searched endlessly to find that chart but haven’t had any luck. Not even on google. Does anyone know the chart I’m referring to?
