I don't want to be plowing through our savings for selfish reasons like my mindframe at work, but I don't want to make our lives worse by being miserable. My family mistreated me when I was younger, and now that I don’t live at home, they don’t call or bother to look for me, because frankly, I think they have a hard time admitting what happened - and will never apologize to me either. If I don’t call, or occasionally go see them during the holidays, we would never talk. Some of them are growing old (health-wise), and I’m scared this entire situation is just irreparable. Has anyone ever gone through anything similar? Any advice or thoughts?

I still think of my ex. It’s been 9 months since our breakup. He cheated on me and although I walked away and never looked back, I still wonder how life is treating him. I know I deserve better. Sigh.

The criticism was more around actually working there than the work itself but is it really that bad?
