Hi, folks I am working as market research analyst at a startup company for last 9 months. Currently I am feeling work is kinda boring and also there is no scope for growth and learn new things in the company. Is it's better work at the same company to gain some experience or leave company and join MBA course so that I will get better placement in big companies where I can learn new things.
Uh, Discover? ... “Hello”?

Wealthfront page just taught me all about that. It helps lower taxes by harvesting previously unrecognized investment losses to offset taxes due on gains and income
Are betterment and wealthfront compliant with your broker feed program? Pretty sure they aren't for me
What is tax harvesting??? Can you explain in laypersons terms
They have a video on their page as well with a quick whiteboard animation!
Just curious OP, why wouldn't you take advantage of all your tax-advantaged space (max 401k) first before playing in taxable?
I meant to say betterment... Not wealthfront.
Both are great but have heard about more people using Betterment. Look into the tax harvesting capabilities, it's so cool it's almost unfair
Try maxing out HSA as well.
I use wealthfront. I've had solid returns so far. Much better than the managed vanguard 401k and Wells Fargo HSA.
At D2 because the returns, at least mine. Are terrible. Could be that I picked by great finds but I confronted over 20k and I've made like $300... And I want money I can use easily for big purchases
@Dd2, if you don't mind sharing, what are your percentage returns, and over what period?
I use wealthfront and its working very well so far. I can share invite that both of us can get additional $5000 managed for free if anyone is interested in the wealthfront invite.
@OP, the current returns may just be a reflection of current fund selection. Our fund options are pretty amazing compared to a lot of organizations. Our ER's are crazy low. You should be looking at a longer term investing horizon, and not concerned over what your return was over a couple years. Review, rebalance, and use that tax advantages space as much as possible!
Just a note on tax harvesting, you have to lose money first... Not sure I'd call that "cool"
Any deloitters in NYC want to help me pick my 401k funds? I may have randomly selected funds on my first day... I'll buy you lunch :)
