What would you do? When the team went remote, an employee advised they were going to temporarily go help their FIL with their spouse. Upon resetting the expectations to return to the office (as was always the plan to return in some capacity) we discovered they moved out of state, without informing anyone at work. This individual is still listed and being taxed out of a state they no longer live due to this. Now refusing to return, but advised we don’t have grounds for termination. 😅
