I'm a new first year associate, almost two weeks in. Have to ask: is it normal to have almost no idea what's going on? I know my teams view me as completely clueless (which is 100% accurate), but whenever I ask for an explanation/they go over something with me, I'm still left feeling like they're speaking a different language. Does anyone else have a mental health diagnosis they don’t want anyone at work to know about/do not want any accommodations for? I have Bipolar I Disorder and have been diagnosed since undergrad. I made it through law school, the bar, etc. just working around my depression and mania. I’ve been steady on my medications for two years now so the highs and lows aren’t nearly as severe, but I still notice they affect my work here and there. Any tips on how to handle it without accommodations?
