Beginning to feel the pinch of the job market right now after the org I worked at shuttered. It was under a major/multi-billion dollar conglomerate, I have 12+ years experience in social/digital strategy and content/brand marketing all at major, well-known media & entertainment brands, 5+ years in sr. leadership, have revamped my resume sooo many times, but just not seeing many bites on my applications and outreach. Anyone else going through this, and how are you dealing?

How do you get experience when no one will hire you? I wouldn’t mind hanging a shingle but I feel it’d be irresponsible to do so with no experience. Unlike all of my classmates, I never landed an internship/externship in law school - had only one interview. I was a PT law student, came from a CS background, and worked in IT throughout law school. I passed the bar exam on my first try (Oct 2020) and have only had a couple interviews out of the hundreds of applications I sent out. Any suggestions?

Working my way up the corporate ladder. I have so many thoughts on leadership and want to initiate changes in the departments I work with. But at this level it's so difficult. Ppl are so resistant to change.
