I have 6 yrs of HR exp, a PHR cert & an HRIP cert. I recently left my role as an HR Rep at a tech co b/c I was working 60+/week and the stress of the job was affecting my health. I recently received an offer at a new tech co that is $10k less than what I was previously making with comments from current EEs that this new co has a better WLB. Total comp is still a lot less than my prev company. Is less comp too much of a compromise for better WLB? What have you compromised for a better WLB?

Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
My-cpe.com This is the site I used. I paid $199 for a one year subscription and got all the credits I needed - including the Ethics requirement.
This is really helpful. Thank you for sharing this.
Does anyone actually check to see if we’re keeping our cert active?
That's a good question. But i figured if i want to apply for a new job, it may be better to keep it active.
I only had to purchase the Ethics credit but all the rest I received from attending free webinars. HRCI has approved webinars you can attend for recertification credits. You just have to dig a little for the free ones.
