Chances of a 4th year corporate/M&A associate specialized in healthcare/pharma being able to lateral from a midsized firm (150-200 attorneys) to a big law firm despite poor law school grades?

Seconding. I’d start applying.

Very good chance. If your hours are tolerable currently, think about whether more pay for more hours is what you truly want. Good thing is these industries have great exit options right now so you wouldn’t be stuck too long if you hate it.

What are "poor" grades? I'm in biglaw and was an average B student in lawschool. I actually have 2 Cs on my lawschool transcript. I did horribly in OCI and was told I'd never be able to clerk (I did). I say go for it. I'm actually a great attorney, based on my results. Good luck.

Now is the time.

Shoot your shot. May need to take a class year bump but totally worth it IMO

Grades don’t matter as much the more experience you get

Solid chance. You’re senior enough that your substantive experience starts to matter more than grades. DM me if you want a lead on a biglaw position here that can be remote in most markets.

Yes and DM me, my firm is looking for exactly this.

I don’t understand how someone can lie about loving you for 6 months. We were together for almost a year (broke up a week before our anniversary). I said I love you first and he said it back. I asked for more reassurance last month with saying I love you more often. Now all of a sudden he said he didn’t know if he loved me and that love meant marriage for him. Okay well great thanks for telling me this now, 6 months after it was initially exchanged. I don’t understand how he could do that.
