Dealing with a more junior team lead who is micromanaging and questions everything I do because we have different working styles and approaches. This is incredibly frustrating as I know what I am doing, but this person tries to block me at every turn and slow down my ability to do anything with launching team projects because she questions. Advice? She also pings me incessantly on Teams and I think that is becoming intrusive and purposefully done so I can’t think straight. I’m at my wit’s end.

Set boundaries. For the Teams messages something like “I am busy now, I’ll address any/all these questions at 3pm” then mute the chat

One partner is driving me insane. I CANNOT work with him. I was called into HR because a coworker overheard a conversation between me and another colleague taking about cable/streaming shows that we watched or recorded. I mentioned that I recorded a few true-crime shows. My colleague jokingly said, "I hope I'm not on your hit-list!". I replied, "Not anymore." I was working at a Hotel one night & I saw a man appearing on two different floors, then in the stairwell. The man was in his 70’s or 80’s. He was wearing nothing but tidy whiteys. When he got to the front desk I asked “is everything alright? Are you okay?” (Assuming he may be senile),He wasn’t senile, he went swimming & wanted to make me uncomfortable and started to flirt while in his sopping wet see through tidy whiteys- and of course I had to clean up the water he tracked through the lobby.

Fishes!..I had a CTC of 25L in Chennai and joined for 35L in Bangalore,on the premise that the company is ok with WFH for long term..
Now within weeks of joining, company says Govt has mandated work from office so all need to report by October..is this true from govt side?.. I’m 16 weeks and my doctor recommended AFP testing to determine neural defects. We already did NT and NIPT which came back low risk. She said it’s to determine if we need to be doing an early anatomy scan sooner than 20 weeks. Anyone else done the AFP testing?
