I've done federal audit and now I'm in federal advisory, and the only ppl who hit me up on LinkedIn or Indeed want me for more federal work. Yes but I’ve been practicing 3 years and am in my 20’s 😅
Not only do I constantly think about it, I’m actively planning for it.
I mean, financially speaking I'm trying to plan for it as best as I can. But am I sitting at my desk planning on what I'd do when I'm retired, no.
I usually am thinking about what I can do outside of law. I’ve practiced over 20 years.
Similar here. Have 11 years until our youngest graduates from college. I often wonder whether I want to make one more push on the career front before calling it quits, but I’m also kind of tired. And then I wonder what would I even do with my time without work? I’ve been so busy with work and kids, I don’t really have any hobbies or other pastimes to fill up that kind of time.
I’ve thought about it for years. Then I went nuts and had another little kid. Now I’ve got another 19 years until my youngest is out of college. 😡
4 1/2 years until our youngest graduates but I probably have 10 to go after 4 college tuitions.
