When does the CSP 80k SOB promotion end?
Hi Londoners ,
Moving in from outside UK.
Looking out for some areas in west / NW London where one can live with an infant on max 1400£ rental while requiring one partner to travel to Central occasionally for work and the other person 3 days a week to LHR.
Some Qns:
1) Will 1 Bedroom be too cramped for the infant to grow up? Should I raise budget?
2) I prefer being in family /childcare friendly areas. Had Harrow, Acton in mind . Are they good for my budget or any other suggestions?
TIA Deloitte @
Can I ask for an agile promotion as a SM1?

It’s solid for a non promo year.
Fairly good generally speaking. Especially if it’s a merit raise and not part of advancement
If all you got was 7% a year it would take nearly 20 years to go from $80K to $300K.
Not enough for me, but if it's a non-promo year and promo years are looking more like 15%+, it could work.
It looks good but my answer may change based on title, years of service, group and if it’s promotion year or non promotion.
Good for CLA!
Oh you just wait!
From my time at cla that’s really good for cla for non promo year.
Solid
Absolutely
That’s really good for CLA. I think that’s what I got my senior to manager promotion year.
Non promo yes. Industry is typically less than 5%.
Very solid= you’re safe.
Here for when the OP comes back to say it was a promotion year 7%
Was not
Bruh i considered having a Job good in today's market....
anything over 3% inflation is good
But inflation is 4.3% currently. Thanks DJT!!!
Yes, my raise at January 1, 2026 was 4%, after traditionally geting 7%
Yea if your promo year raise was a good %. I was promoted last year and only got 10 %. If i get a 7% this year, I will look elsewhere
Teachers get an average of 4% per year…
Responsibilities in public accounting go up significantly each year. That’s the main reason. I’m not saying they don’t fit teachers but it’s not one for one.

I think it’s a fairly good raise generally speaking.
In most market conditions, a 7% raise is a good one, assuming it's not tied to a promotion.
Most merit raises have been around 3-3.5%, with raises tied to promotions have been around have been around 8-10%.
