Mines is spelling my name wrong in email 🤦🏽‍♀️ I just think it’s no excuse especially if you are emailing me andddd my name is in my signature. That just tickles my feathers 😂🙄

Guys I am on notice period and will resign in a month. My team members will give me a goodbye gift total amount be approx 5-7k. My team lead is very frank with me so he told I should tell him what I need and he'll put forward to others. Any good suggestions what should I ask for?

I think non-inclusive teams aren't revenue-efficient, but also aren't morally bad. Most just want to live in their bubble and not have their lives disrupted. If people want coworkers to talk football or cricket or fashion or LGBTQ+ rights with, that's entirely their prerogative. Companies and teams aren't just money printers, but also communities. You can't expect to fit into all communities.

My ASM is lazy and is incapable of doing the easiest basic tasks with recruitment. She receives all my end of day updates, is cc’d on all emails, makes me fill out 5 repetitive excel/smart sheet, and joins all my meetings but she still wants to call having me 5x daily about updates. I’m always the one to go to if other recruiters fail to meet client deadlines and cleaning up recruiters mistakes. How do I even handle this to begin with?

My coworker constantly undermines me and makes me look bad in team meetings. Should I try and address this directly with them or should I go to my manager first?

Hi guys, After CAF completion by last week, yesterday I received a call from the HR for the second round of evaluation. So, I attended it yesterday and performed well by answering 90-95% of the questions. Even the interviewer gave good comments on my performance. But suddenly today I received an email that my candidature isn't suitable for the role and they're keeping my profile in the database. Does this mean they'll call me if there are openings with some other project?

I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice. At the end of the day it’s business, but I am left feeling like I wasted my time (and theirs.)Totally confused and disheartened by this process. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account.
