Does anyone know of any fun, online programs for kids that are educational but don't drone on? I need something to keep my kids busy after homework time if I'm still working, but don't want them watching garbage on youtube. Recs for fun online stuff or games would be great!

Kids’ age?

smart

Try outschool.com. I’ve found some really fun and educational classes for my kids that don’t feel educational and suit exactly the kind of need you’re looking for.

My parents let me play Zoombini game on PC in the late 1990’s/early 2000’s. Not sure if this is still a thing but supposed to teach pattern recognition and logic. I scored in the top 0.1% in Math nationwide (in an Asian country) so it may or may not have worked 🤣

I also liked watching the equivalent of TEDx talks (berkeley had a polit sci speaker series available at the time and it was one of the few stimulating things available to me) in middle school. Michael Sandel’s On Justice lectures were also my favorite. As was Harry Potter… maybe I was just a nerd

Trying to set family expectations and would love thoughts on 2 things. 1. How long after baby will I be ready for visitors beyond our parents? I’m thinking a few weeks. 2. Our 3 grandmothers are 1-3 hour flights away (3 diff places) and cannot travel. When will we be ready to take baby to see them? I’m thinking 4-6 months but that would also be flu/RSV season. Can’t predict the future but family is already talking about trips and I want to set expectations and do what is best for baby. TIA!!

We want to find a career that allows her to work remote or that at least gives her a better work life balance so that she can see her kids grow up. Hi
Are there any couple pg/studio aprtment in pune wanna shift with my wife for some 3-4months.
Please help me with some suggestions..

My SO adds very little to our relationship. She has a dead end job. I cook. I work. I oversee finances. I plan trips. She doesn’t have a voice in the relationship. I’ve asked her to give her perspective but she always defaults to mine bc she thinks I’m smarter/worldly. She feels intimated by me and my social circle. Lately, I’ve found myself thinking for her. Anticipating her wants and needs and then adjusting my behavior to meet them. Which she appreciates but it’s frustrating 29M 27F

Anyone else getting pressured and its getting annoying?

My girlfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for 8 months now. We talk every single day online and recently I went to visit her for around a month. It was great and it seemed like the relationship was stronger than ever. But one week back after visiting her, I felt a strange detachment from her and our conversation topic got repetitive and stale quick. Any advice?

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Her knowledge of the program certainly built trust with me early on, but it has been two years. I discussed it with my current therapist but she’s still in there. Any advice?

This is a question about friendships. Two friends got into a really bad fight this past weekend. They have each asked me to hang out this weekend. What do I do? I don’t want to have to choose sides. One is a friend I’ve known a little longer and has been a good friend and so she would feel betrayed and angry if she knew I were still friends with her now-enemy. The other I’ve known less longer, but we seem more compatible. Advice??

My wife often calls me by 5:45/6 to ask where I am if I’m not headed home yet. Sometimes she’s stressed with kids/dogs/dinner and really wants me home. This really throws off my concentration because it makes me feel rushed. Like many practices sometimes I’m out at 5:30, other times it’s much later. Just depends and is unpredictable. Any advice on how to approach this?
